It is unsuitable for heat-treatment. Deteriorating ductility qualities due to increased S-content and higher cracking risk have to be considered. 11SMnPb37 shows compared to 11SMn37 better parameter. According to this standard it will be delivered as levelled and bright steel sheared to length in the drawn, peeled or grinded condition.
